Denzil Howson (1918–2005) was an accomplished actor, writer, director and producer in television, radio, film and theatre in Australia. His professional career spanned over 60 years starting in radio in the late 1930s. In 1956 he joined GTV9 in Melbourne and played a leading role in the pioneering years of Australian television. Denzil Howson was a highly creative person with an unusually broad range of skills which he applied with enthusiasm and energy.
